A Love Electric tras el anuncio de la presentación en línea en Casa del Lago el próximo 26 de septiembre que permite el primer acercamiento a Permanent Immigrant el tan ya anunciado cuarto disco de la super-banda, publica This is the time como primer eslabón del álbum.  

This is the time muestra un salvaje spoken word, escupitajo de frases e ideas literarias que resplandecen en rock crudo, sin pulir, mismo que recuerda a Captain Beefheart, Zappa y King Crimson.

Todd Clouser (guitarra y voz), Aaron Cruz (Bajo) y Hernan Hecht (Batería) exponen a This is the time como una canción representativa del resto del álbum, destacándola y atribuyéndola a la combinación de sus personalidades, experiencias, gustos y talentos. This is the time expresa perfectamente el sonido de Permanet Immigrant.
